Hair Salon ecole｜12mm Architects

This project involves the relocation of a hair salon in Owariasahi City, Aichi Prefecture. Instead of a large open-plan layout accommodating three to four standard cutting stations plus two to three shampoo stations, the floor plan is designed with a central corridor, creating multiple private rooms that offer a calm and relaxing environment. For the exterior, no outdoor stairs were added to address the site’s level difference; instead, the staircase is partially incorporated within the building as the approach to the salon. The interior design eliminates any unnecessary or excessive elements, adopting a simple and efficient finish.
