Introducing VUZZRY VALDR Flagship Shop, an example of Architect / Design office facility architecture in 3-7-7 Minatocho, Tsuchiura, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan by e do design architects.

Flagship shop for the apparel brand VUZZRY VALDR, which specializes in golf wear and goods.

When we were invited to the competition in 2021, the proposal was originally for a new-build project.

After the client commissioned our office, the project was later changed to a renovation of an existing building. The development proceeded with the first floor as the shop and the second floor as offices and storage.

A courtyard was planned with exposed cast-in-place concrete walls, and the wall visible from within the shop was treated as an installation of stacked stones selected by the owner.

The owner’s particular preferences are sprinkled throughout the interior, reflecting and reinforcing the brand’s worldview. Gross floor area: 126.36 m² (38.2 tsubo)
