The building is situated in a remarkable setting overlooking the two mountain ranges of the Southern Alps and the Central Alps. Prior to the construction of an adjacent factory, a training facility for employees was planned. The architecture was required to maximize the views toward the mountains while minimizing the impact on the surrounding environment.
To reduce the building's volume, the structure is primarily single-story, with a series of small, continuous roofs creating an expansive architectural form that spreads across the site. Inside, the ceiling heights vary to create spatial interest, and each room features a prominently large window facing east, opening widely toward the Southern Alps as a symbolic element. Throughout the interior, from unexpected vantage points to long circulation paths, the design fosters a connection with the landscape, allowing occupants to enjoy the surrounding environment.
Over time, the newly planted trees and greenery are expected to mature, harmonizing the surrounding environment, architecture, and landscape into an integrated whole.
