This residence could be described as a "scenic house": the site contains a sloped terrain. Dense tree cover within the property creates an extraordinary atmosphere that belies its suburban location. To maximize the site's exceptional setting, a generous wood deck was introduced to establish a strong spatial connection between interior and exterior.

Internally, an awkward existing plan was improved by relocating the staircase and installing a bespoke stair that harmonizes with the surrounding interiors. In addition, the wet areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were renovated.
