The site is located in a villa district on the Yatsugatake Plateau, surrounded by natural scenery including larch and white birch trees, creating a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The approach to the site is from the northern corner of a Y-shaped road, with views of the Yatsugatake mountain range to the north. In the design process, the foundation was elevated to ensure privacy. The floor plan features large openings oriented north-south to capture the surrounding views, with the living and dining areas positioned accordingly, and bedrooms located on the west side. The living room includes a double-height space with a loft area situated to its north. As this villa is part of a newly developed resort area, there are few buildings nearby, and it is expected that over time this mountain villa will harmonize with the landscape of the villa district.
