This space was conceived by considering how to connect the approximately 1.2-meter level difference originally present between the client, who values their cars and motorcycles, and the site.
The approach at road level leads toward the courtyard while resolving the level difference, with views of the adjacent garage, and beyond it appears the residential wing housing the living spaces.
The interior is unified in achromatic tones except for some wood elements, serving as a backdrop intended to be enlivened by the client’s possessions. The courtyard, nestled between the garage and the living-dining-kitchen (LDK) area, is proposed as an extension of the interior or conversely as an outdoor space that blurs the boundary with the indoors.
This is a residence designed for immersive living, both inside and out.
