A house for a couple and their three children located in the Gakuenmae residential area of Nara City. The courtyard, living room, and kitchen are arranged in a triangular configuration, forming the home's center of gravity and the starting point of daily life. A tatami area raised two steps above the living room accommodates the family's changing needs.
