Introducing GELATO PIQUE HOME, a custom-built home example by kurachiffon Miki Takiuchi First-Class Architect’s Office, a Architect / Design office in 2-6-11 Ikenohata, Taito-ku, Tokyo

A full renovation of a 30-year-old condominium, combining three units into one. This is the home of a couple in their twenties (they welcomed a baby after moving in). As we discussed what kind of home they wanted, they decided on the design concept: a home like a GELATO PIQUE CAFE, the café of GELATO PIQUE, a loungewear brand known for its focus on comfort.

Naturally, our meetings took place at a GELATO PIQUE CAFE. The wife selected everything from their existing furniture and favorite lamps to the small accessories they wanted to install, creating a wonderfully comfortable space surrounded by the things they love.
