Located near a major road, this house stands in a residential neighborhood of two-story homes, with the greenery of a park extending along the east side facing the street.
The layout is organized around a courtyard that brings light and air into the house.
The spaces are thoughtfully divided by considering sightlines at the level of floor seating.
The design explores the form of the interval between people and the wind, the relationship between the distance to objects, and the relationship between people and the place.
The spaces are partitioned through a balance of visible and invisible forms, making perceptible the presence, wind, light, and unseen intervals between them.
