The site features a frontage of 4.6 meters and a depth of 12.6 meters, with an approximate 80 cm level difference from the road surface.
The required volume for this garage house necessarily spans three levels, while also being subject to strict height restrictions. The first floor incorporates a continuous wooden seismic frame, forming the garage and approach space.
At the center of the site, the original ground level at +800 mm was designated for the entrance and wet areas. The resulting vertical offset of 0.3 floor levels was directly adopted as a skip floor on the second level.
This project demanded a complex resolution of seismic performance for the first-floor garage within a narrow frontage lot and under stringent height limitations in a Category 1 Low-Rise Exclusive Residential District. The completed living space became a unique, continuous environment with dynamic three-dimensional spatial variations.
