Wall surfaces were clad with slate using a dry-fix system so that any future defective panels can be replaced easily.
A subdued, variegated material was selected to harmonize naturally with the building’s aged exterior.
Removed red granite and mirrors and replaced them with ceramic slate cladding.
A single tile was used in three sizes and arranged in a patterned layout across the floor, including stair treads and risers.
Standardized the previously inconsistent lighting color temperatures and upgraded to LED.
Mailboxes, which had been cluttered with flyers, were replaced with clean white units to improve the appearance.
The highly visible wall beside the elevator was finished with rubber tiles and repurposed as a notice board.
