• We are a design office based in Osaka and Nara. Our work ranges from restoration of traditional folk houses (kominka) and renovation of machiya townhouses to adaptive reuse of vacant properties, seismic assessment and reinforcement, renovations, and new construction. We design custom detached houses and provide consulting on succession, utilization, and change of use for commercial properties such as condominiums, nagaya (row houses), clinics, welfare facilities, guesthouses, and share houses. We also undertake interior design for retail and office spaces. Valuing simple plans and retro materials, we strive for meticulous, carefully considered design on a project-by-project basis.
