At the early-spring jichinsai, a migratory bird alighting on the ceremonial sand mound made us smile.
A two-family house built on a site facing the Yata Hills to the east and Mount Ikoma to the west, with road access on both the east and west sides.
Centered on three gardens—the front garden, the courtyard, and the rear garden—we sought a life with depth in which greenery is appreciated, sounds are made, and people gather.
It was a house designed to weave together the residents' past and future,
while imagining that Daurian redstart from that day perched on a garden tree. Structure: Wooden construction
