Kujo Residence｜Abax Architects

Located in a densely built residential area of Nishi Ward, Osaka City, this is a fully independent two-family house. Surrounded by three-story houses, the design limits openings facing the street to ensure privacy, while incorporating an internal courtyard that provides the main source of natural light and ventilation for both the first and second floors. In response to the client’s profession in sound, a soundproofed music studio is installed on the second floor.
