A relaxed lifestyle for a dual-income family raising children｜AITOHUS Co., Ltd.

Enjoying the garden from the inside and enjoying the house from the outside

This is the residence of the S family: a couple, three children (ages 14, 7, and 3), and a pet dog. One of their favorite spaces is the garden. By incorporating partitions, they sometimes dine on the terrace, and during the day they can enjoy an open connection between interior and exterior without curtains and without concern for privacy. The planting design, which makes weeds less noticeable, also reduces maintenance effort.

“I really love looking at the nighttime exterior, beautifully colored by the lighting,” says the wife. Although the couple are busy balancing childrearing and work, creating a sense of time and leisure allows them to naturally enjoy their daily life.
