House in Nishiokamoto｜Abax Architects

The site is located in the upscale residential area of the mountainous region of Kobe. The building’s roof is designed to follow the ridgeline of Mount Rokko, and the house is positioned on the site as if it is quietly standing in place. The living room, where the family gathers, is bathed in abundant natural light, nestled between a spacious southern garden and a courtyard terrace. The house has become a place to look forward to the growth of the landscaping scattered throughout the site.
