Introducing House in Higashitezukayama, a custom-built home example by Abax Architects, a Architect / Design office in 203 Higashi-Shin Building, 1-7-12 Awaza, Nishi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture

This is a three-story steel-framed urban residence constructed on a narrow site measuring 5.2 meters in frontage and 24.7 meters in depth. Fortunately, to the south lies a large site occupied by a nursing care facility, allowing the incorporation of its garden planting as borrowed scenery. A central courtyard and stairwell are positioned in the middle of the building, enabling natural light to reach every room. Bamboo is planted in the courtyard, and when it rains, a thin layer of water accumulates, forming a subtle reflecting pool. Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture
