Homes Featuring Traditional Tea Rooms
A home with a tea room provides a quiet space for mindfulness, connecting with nature and seasons through the art of tea. Incorporating tatami mats, shoji screens, alcoves (tokonoma), and low entrances (nijiriguchi) creates quiet elegance through simple materials. Sightlines to gardens and stepping-stone paths (roji) elevate the journey to the tea room as much as the ceremony itself. Modern designs can adapt tea rooms into versatile Japanese-style retreat spaces. We introduce tea-ceremony homes that value quiet moments and seasonal appreciation.
House with a Hobby Space
A home with a hobby space creates a place in daily life where you can immerse yourself in your favorite things such as models, music, reading, DIY, or collections. Not only planned as a dedicated room, but by utilizing a corner of the living room, under the stairs, or a loft, you can create your own private place even in a limited area. By arranging shelves for storing tools and materials, workbenches, and lighting suitable for hobbies, it becomes an environment you can enjoy immediately when inspiration strikes. It is also attractive to use places where you can feel the family's presence and places where you can concentrate separately. This introduces a home with a hobby space where you can place your favorite things near your daily life and fully enjoy your own time.
